We went here for a Saturday night dinner and country line dance! It was amazingly fun and the setting is simply out-of-this-world beautiful! Dinner was a buffet line, and the food was delicious -- salmon, ribs, potatoes, veggies, and a beautiful fresh salad. Wine and beer were self-serve, on-your-honor.
Our family vacation brought us to Sylvan Dale Dude Ranch in July 2024. This was such an amazing trip. The ranch is near Loveland, CO so it was beautiful especially for a family from south Louisiana. We don't have views like that back home! The entire experience was more than we expected.
My husband and I stayed here for our 10-year wedding anniversary. We booked weeks in advance, and when we arrived, I didn’t expect to get a room that matched my vibes so perfectly. I did not have an expectation but they did above and beyond!
It is no wonder that people return to this guest ranch for years and years. (There is a guest that comes all the way from Israel every year, and no, she is not related to anyone at the ranch, she comes back because she loves it here.
Getting married at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Retreat & Wedding Venue
Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Retreat & Wedding Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Retreat & Wedding Venue
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, Retreat & Wedding Venue — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
