I had the honor of DJ’ing the very first wedding this weekend at this beautiful new venue. The owners truly poured their heart, soul, into bringing their vision to life and it shows in every detail. You can tell this space was created with a desire to give couples a magical place to say “I do.
Five Stars! Sweet Promise Farms is such a beautiful spot just outside of Tyler, TX. I recently visited and was really impressed—not just by how pretty it is, but by the heart behind it. Renee and Jo have built this venue from the ground up, and you can tell how much love and care they’ve put into every detail.
Sweet Promise Farm is truly a dream wedding venue, and we cannot say enough good things about it or the incredible owners behind it. From our very first visit, we felt so welcomed and cared for — not just as clients, but as people. The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
