Beautiful venue with amazing owner/staff. The layout is perfect for an outdoor wedding and our guests had a great time! Trust me, you need a day-of-coordinator, and Samantha is one of the best! She will keep you informed, communicate with your vendors, listen to your requests, and decorate perfectly for your day.
My husband and I got married at Sutton Barn a little over a month and a half ago and we can't recommend this venue enough! We are beyond thankful for Laura, our wedding coordinator, who works at Sutton Barn. She is easy-going, a delight to work with, and amazing at her job.
We made a quick decision to move my daughter's wedding & Reception at the end of November from an indoor venue (in Michigan with strict indoor gathering numbers) to an outdoor venue, which meant that we'd have to move it up about 2 months.
Our wedding on 6/1/24 at Sutton Barn was a dream come true. The staff was amazing, our wedding coordinator Sam made sure every single thing was taken care of (for months and months leading up!), and the owner Susan always checked in with us to make sure things were going smoothly.
Getting married at Sutton Barn
Sutton Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
