My wife and I had our wedding at Sundown River Ranch in July of 2023. I cannot say enough good things about the venue and the owners. The views from this place are some of the most beautiful on the Palouse. We had 300+ guests and there was plenty of parking and room to party til way past midnight.
We loved having our wedding at Sundown River Ranch! It is a beautiful space that is maintained very well. Brooke and John were always willing to give a helping hand throughout the weekend. What sets them apart from other local venues is that they have spacious suites for the bridesmaids and groomsmen.
Was a guest for a wedding. Absolutely beautiful venue. The owners were so helpful!
Getting married at Sundown River Ranch
Sundown River Ranch comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
