We just recently got married on halloween 10.31.2025! Overall we had the best day and we highly recommend booking through Sugar Island. With that being said here is my review: We booked the venue 2.5 years in advance. Their Moto - Your Wedding Your Week really sold me and my husband.
Sugar Island Barn is beautiful! Their staff is exceptional! From the start they were so easy to work with. Pricing was easy and straight forward. We had the barn from Wednesday to Monday making set up and tear down very easy.
I had my wedding reception here in September of 2017. The barn is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue and for a reasonable price. My husband and I wanted a rustic reception and we had looked and looked for barns in the area. They were either too expensive or booked 2 years out.
This Venue is absolutely stunning, but the most amazing part of this whole venue is the family that runs it. This family truly cares about you & your family. They have huge hearts, very accomodating, personable, communication was outstanding, but the whole venue was top notch!

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception.
