From the reviews
Oh how I wish I found this charming B&B only 12 minutes from Cornell sooner! Rooms were spotless, service was exceptional, and property was absolutely beautiful! Ask for a tour of the barn; all original from early 1900’s. Not just a wedding venue; owners cater to B&B quests as well!!!
Wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in the Hattie suite. Nice clean, comfy and quiet. Delicious homemade breakfast. Warm and welcoming service. Only 7.5 miles from the college town on Ithaca. Definitely consider here vs an in town hotel if you don’t mind the bed and breakfast experience.
Loved the Stratton Inn, spotlessly clean, beautiful, modern yet charming place. Rooms and bath were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and Terry the inn keeper was very helpful and friendly.
Stratton Creek Inn was the perfect spot for our first trip to the Finger Lakes area. The Inn was easy to get to and is a short drive to the college town of Ithaca, not far from dozens of restaurants, wineries, parks and waterfalls.
Getting married at Stratton Creek Inn
Stratton Creek Inn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Stratton Creek Inn
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Stratton Creek Inn — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
