From the reviews
"Sowell North Pole" is packed with Christmas Lights! It's not the biggest, bit it's packed!! Go early to avoid waiting too long in line (in your car). The train is so fun and only $2!! Their Santa is so sweet & has his real beard and hair. The barn (where you see Santa and wait for the train) is so festively decorated.
If you’re looking for a magical, family-friendly holiday experience, this is the place to go! We visited last night and had such an incredible time. Sowell Farms is truly a hidden gem for families looking to make lasting holiday memories. The Christmas lights display was absolutely stunning and so much fun to explore.
We had our wedding there in October and wow it was such a good experience getting married there. Not only were there such picturesque and beautiful locations throughout the venue, but they really were so helpful. I truly am amazed by it all and have no complaints.
We went for the Christmas Light show. It was very well put together, I loved that there were sections or lights and not just thrown everywhere. One was water themed, the next was construction, one for reindeer, etc. I wish it would have been a bit longer.
Getting married at Sowell Farms
Sowell Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
