As a wedding photographer, I can't say enough how beautiful this wedding venue is. I love the getting ready house...room for both the bride and groom to prep with plenty of photo options around the property.
Southern Stables in West Monroe deserves more than just 5 stars! My company recently hosted a retirement party there, and it was truly incredible. Our event coordinator, Brittani Russell, met with us to discuss our needs and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. She was outstanding!
We had our daughter’s wedding here and it was AMAZING! The scenery is beautiful, the barn is gorgeous, but the best part is the staff and Mandy. I was so stressed on the day of our final walkthrough but she helped me envision the goal and helped us get there. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

Getting married at Southern Stables Venue

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
