I don't have the words to explain how thankful my now husband and I are to have found Jennifer, Sam & the rest of the South Farms Team. We are two busy entrepreneurs always on the road. We decided in late December of 2023 to plan a March 1, 2024 wedding!
We just had our wedding here this past weekend and wanted to write this review while everything was still fresh in our minds (albeit a bit blurry still!) because the team at South Farms was so amazing and we are so grateful to them.
We were married in October of 2023 and I still can't get over the beauty of this place! The rustic vibe and uniqueness makes for an unforgettable experience. Sam was a fantastic coordinator! She was very communicative, answered all questions in a timely manner, and took care of us on the day of!
South Farms provides the ultimate rustic, barn wedding experience. The owner and staff are very accommodating and allowed us access to the entire property with the bride & groom, which allowed my assistant and I to take photos with the cows, a country road, and pastoral views. It is a stunning property!
Getting married at South Farms
South Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
