We are from Northern Virginia. When we were looking for wedding venues almost 3 years ago, we searched all across the state for the picturesque scenery and venue we wanted, before settling on Sorella.
Beautiful Landscaped Wedding Venue. Very nice area, I attended a wedding there in early November, and the fall colors were at their peak! Nice guest house for the ladies to get ready. Nice & friendly staff. Wedding coordinator was extremely helpful! Barn was a great surprise! Nicely decorated, rich in color.

My now husband (!) and I booked Sorella Farms in March 2017 for our 9/21/19 wedding. Needless to say it was a LONG engagement and that included the venue being auctioned to a new owner.
Getting married at Sorella Farms
Sorella Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
