Had my nieces 6th birthday party today at Sonny Acres and Ms Sue and her team were soooooo accommodating. They were very attentive to our needs from table setup, party decoration placement to dropping the cake off early. She constantly checked to see if there was anything we need numerous times throughout the party.
I had the time of my life for the Haunted Barn and Hayride here! The actors are super interactive but not pushy with people who are ~too scared. The sets/scenes were so well done. Put together nicely with cute details. I went with a group of my friends and we all had a BLAST.
Our expectations were blown away! The rides, the food, everything felt so cozy and fun. Do NOT miss the haunted hay ride, it's fantastic. The haunted barn is great too and not too long. I love Halloween and I haven't seen half of the decorations they had up.
Getting married at Sonny Acres Farm
Sonny Acres Farm comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Sonny Acres Farm
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Sonny Acres Farm — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
