I photographed a wedding here a while back and it was INCREDIBLE. The venue itself has so much character but you can still add things to make it your own. The succulent wall on the outside and inside is amazing and the perfect backdrop for photos!
My wedding at SmogShoppe in March 2023 was perfect. So many guests told me it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and this is mainly due to SmogShoppe. It's beautiful and has so much character, I barely had to add decor. Dana, Alex and everyone else were a dream to work with, so organized, helpful and kind.
Smog Shoppe is a picture perfect heaven for any wedding. It's one of my absolute favorite venues in Los Angeles. When I found out my couple booked this as their venue, I was STOKED! It has so many beautiful areas for photos.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
