My granddaughter had never been on a horse, until today at Smith Hollow Farm in Kernersville NC. She just turned 18 and rode today. The staff was friendly and instructed from saddling to some points on brushing and then to riding. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. It beat a trip to the mall.
Had a really great time here. My best friend had his wedding here and it was amazing. The venue was absolutely gorgeous and had a rustic country vibe . Fair warning parking is a bit tight and the venue is not super big so large parties close to a hundred or more would definitely feel cramped.
Our daughter came home for the first time since we took her to college in August, so we wanted to do something really special. We didn't just want to get our pumpkins at a box store, we wanted to have a wholesome family experience, and boy, did SHF exceed expectations!
We had such a great time visiting Smith Hollow Farm! We loved all the activities including the corn maze, apple chunking, hay ride and animals! The staff are very friendly and helpful. We plan on making our visits a yearly tradition!
