The moment we stepped foot on the property of The Skinner Barn we knew it felt like the right place for us to be married. Peter, the owner, gave us a detailed tour of the space and quickly demonstrated his tremendous knowledge of the wedding industry and event production.

Our daughter’s wedding reception at The Skinner Barn on July 2,2023 was wonderful. Peter, the venue owner, could not have been more helpful throughout the coordination of our event. The venue location was ideal, and the view speaks for itself.
Getting married at Skinner Barn
Skinner Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge.
