From the reviews
My daughter's wedding was held in September 2024. The ceremony was held right on site at Simply Country Barn and it was beautiful. Everything went very well. We had a small wedding (60 people) but Jim and Carrie Tryba made sure every detail was just right. We signed up for the floral, decorating and game packages too.
Carrie and Jim are wonderful caring and customer service orientated owners and treat everyone like family. Their beautiful barn is the perfect backdrop for a wedding or other event. They are extremely driven to help their clients and take care of all little details.
Jim and Carrie are wonderful. Knowledgeable, experienced in every aspect of wedding planning, warm, kind, and fun! They help you prepare, get the details finalized, and are flexible with packaging. Carrie knows every detail and answers calls and emails timely and thoroughly.
Wow. Went to a wedding here. The barn is updated and just lovely. The dinner was incredible and so nice. The dancing and accommodations were wonderful. And I'm high humidity 80s they had huge fans to keep us all cool. They even fogged for mosquitoes. Just a lovely bunch of people
Getting married at Simply Country Barn -Work
Simply Country Barn -Work comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Simply Country Barn -Work
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Simply Country Barn -Work — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
