From the reviews
I cannot say enough good things about my experience having my wedding at Shupe Homestead last weekend. Darla, Jim and his staff take such good care of you. We had a couple hiccups due to weather and other vendor issues, but I always knew that Jim had everything under control. He went above and beyond in every way.
Shupe Homestead is an amazing complete package of a wedding venue. The setting is idyllic and so perfectly Colorado, the feel is home-grown and intimate, and the service is the best of the best.
Shupe was amazing to work with! As a wedding planner, having a venue team that is organized and accommodating makes the planning process and wedding day run so smooth. Jim and his team were all of those things. The service was amazing and so attentive on wedding day.

Getting married at Shupe Homestead
Shupe Homestead comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
