From the reviews
I’ve been coming to Scrappin on the Ranch for craft retreats since 2019, and every single visit has been wonderful. It’s one of those rare places that truly feels like a getaway. If you love architecture and old barns, this place is especially special—that’s what made me fall in love with it in the first place.
The Ranch is a super nice place to stay. Inside it is very clean and great space. We held our fantasy football draft here and it was a great spot to get away for it. We had some room to play yard games as well.
I love this place, I meet my cousins and my daughter there twice a year to hang out and have a girls weekend. It is set up with a full kitchen dormitory type bedroom, we usually have 6 people, but there is room for more.
Scrapping at the Ranch is an AWESOME place for more than Scrap Booking. My Bass Club stayed here for the week of the 2025 Minnesota Tournament of Champions (MNBN TOC) out of Winona. The place was incredible. Jolene is a 1st Class Host. Highly recommend for any visit to the Winona area.
Getting married at Scrappin' on the Ranch
Scrappin' on the Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Scrappin' on the Ranch
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Scrappin' on the Ranch — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
