I recently got married at Schoedels Barn, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The moment we walked in, we knew it was the one. The barn is beautiful, the views are amazing, and the whole place has a warm, welcoming feel. Our family and friends were blown away by how nice everything looked.
Schoedels Barn is absolutely beautiful! The venue is stunning inside and out, the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegant details. The views, the setup, just everything… Everything was exactly what we envisioned and more. It truly felt like a dream location for our wedding. Shirley was incredible from day one.
I photographed a wedding at this venue back in January and, unfortunately, my bride had a difficult experience at that time. I hadn’t returned since the last event manager left, but tonight I had the opportunity to photograph another wedding here and the experience was completely different.
Getting married at Schoedel Barn
Schoedel Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
