From the reviews
On April 24th, 2025 we had my Son's wedding here at the Farmhouse. It was all cleaned up nice and ready to go when we arrived at 11am to decorate for our 5pm wedding. They had the bridesmaid quarters and groomsmen all stocked with beverages, champagne, and cookies, lemon bars, etc..(very nice touch!
Omgoodness! If you ever get the chance to go here during their Christmas festivities do it! An unbelievable venue and oh such fun! Take a train ride around the property. Take a hayride to see/feed the reindeer. Plenty of photo ops with all te lights. Sit by a fire and roast marshmallows for smores.
We went to our friends’, Anthony Vincent and Jenna Harms-Vincent’s wedding at The Farmhouse on 12/11/2025 and could not have been more impressed! Gorgeous backdrop, amazing venue and the staff were impeccable! Would recommend as not only a wedding venue but also an event venue to anyone who is considering Schnepf.
We had my best friends bachelorette party here. It was absolutely amazing! Bri, their event coordinator, went above and beyond! We had a full day at the farm with line dancing, lunch, petting zoo, and picking wild flowers!
Getting married at Schnepf Farms
Schnepf Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Schnepf Farms
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Schnepf Farms — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
