From the reviews
The day we randomly visited coincided with a actual wedding talking place. Not wanting to crash the wedding ceremony we limited ourselves to walking around the exterior of the chapel and grounds. Numerous interpretive signs throughout the grounds directing your attention to various highlights.
We got married here in October and it was such a beautiful venue! Julia was so amazing to work with! She was understanding, very helpful, sweet and such a pleasant person! My family had so much fun and loved the area! Our wedding was definitely everything we wanted and expected and more!
What a historic gem! San Pedro is a wonderful setting for small weddings and other events, right in the heart of Old Fort Lowell. The grounds feature desert beauty and rustic charm, with light-strewn trees and pergolas bringing an inviting glow to sunset gatherings. Lovely venue!
As a wedding officiant, this was the first time I performed a wedding at this location. It was just an amazing little venue. When you walked in it was like visiting Tucson of yesteryear. Close your eyes and you can hear the spirits of those who once worshiped here.
Getting married at San Pedro Chapel
San Pedro Chapel comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
