If you want your wedding to feel like the most magical day of your life - you've found your venue. The second my husband and I walked it (over a year before our wedding), we knew this was our venue. Elizabeth and Joe have such great attention to detail, take such great care of the grounds, and are so easy to work with.
I got married at The Salem Herbfarm this past weekend and it was absolutely magical. It's such a beautiful venue-so spacious, has indoor and outdoor options such as a barn and a beautiful greenhouse pavilion, and the grounds are covered in beautiful flowers.
Our daughter's wedding was held here this past Saturday, July 16th. It was everything and more than we could've imagined. Joe, Elizabeth and family were always polite, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The grounds and facility were straight out of fairytale. So many of the guests were amazed by this place.
TL;DR - Original venue burnt down, Salem Herbfarm Saved the day 4 days before our wedding and was a nicer venue On Saturday July 19th, 2025, we received a call from our previous wedding venue that a fire had broken out in the apartments above the ballroom where our wedding was supposed to take place.

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
