Just wow! There are so many great words to describe this venue but all seem to fall short of the true level of superb Sainte Terre really is. The staff makes you feel right at home and meets your every need and beyond.
I had always dreamed of having a wedding in the woods, but in Louisiana, there isn't really a select venue for that. Now there is. We looked at so many places, but Sainte Terre made it happen. They REALLY made it happen. I showed Derek and Hillary my vision and they turned it into reality. Holly's food is the best!
We had three months to plan our wedding. I was so indecisive about where we should get married, because I wanted something different and beautiful. The Sainte Terre crew did everything to help my mom out with just a few meetings. I would choose this venue over and over again. They are the best in Shreveport/Bossier.
As the mother of the bride, my daughter was excited about her engagement but knew that planning a wedding while finishing her PhD would be difficult. But at our initial meeting with Sainte Terre, her anxiousness turned to peace.
Getting married at Sainte Terre
Sainte Terre comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
