From the moment my husband and I toured Sacred Mountain, we knew that it was where we wanted to get married. It's located in the very small and charming town of Julian, CA. The whole town feels like you've stepped back in time, and onto the set of an old western.
Where do I begin, first I want to give a such a major Thank you to Ashley who helped me with the whole process at Sacred Mountain. Ashley was so patient with me, especially during this stressful time. I would absolutely recommend this venue, it’s absolutely breathtaking.
I have been dreaming of this wedding venue for years, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We got married here in April 2023 and it was absolutely magical. First of all, the staff are fabulous. Michelle was so easy to work with and made all the details of our day so easy!
We had the wedding of our absolute DREAMS at Sacred Mountain!!!! We chose the full mountain retreat where we had access to all of the houses!! This was so amazing because the boys had the barn/cottage/carriage house and the girls had the bridal suite and meadow house! It was surreal.
Getting married at Sacred Mountain Ranch
Sacred Mountain Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
