We will be back. This is the most romantic venue!! The chef and owner, Simon Webster is just the most wonderful host. He chatted with us like we were old friends. His food is DIVINE. The little cabins are perfect for a weekend getaway, though I’d happily stay for weeks on end! What a find!!
What a great experience! We had our wedding there last weekend and had around 60 people. Simon did a great job of setup, working on a Texas-New Zealand menu and allowed us to setup the ballroom decorations as needed. We booked all the rooms and had full access throughout the day to the entire place.
A wonderful weekend away in Texas, Simon has a great way of combining great food and flavours to delight the taste buds. Food is his forte and he and christine were very hospitable. We stayed in the Cabin which was rustic and comfy.
Wonderful surprise in a scenic part of East Texas (yes, there are such locations!) Awesome location from the Texas State Railroad. Cabins are very comfortable, private; watched a wild turkey cross the lawn while in a rocking chair on the front porch, and there's even a group venue for weddings or family events.
