I performed my daughter's Wedding ceremony at Rodes and it was a magical experience. Staff were helpful, and very nice. If we needed anything they were there to help. Well kept and maintained nicely. Would definitely recommend.
We knew we wanted a barn wedding but some of the other local venues were out of our price range. Enter Rode's. First, I love that the barn is an authentic 1940's barn. It gave an element of authenticity to our "rustic chic" vibe and the space is BEAUTIFUL.
Absolutely amazing! If you are looking for a rustic venue with fabulous food and exceptional service, THIS IS IT! We held our daughter's bridal shower here, and we could not have been more pleased.
Rode’s Barn is a beautiful site for a small wedding. It would not recommend more than 80 guests there though. Also - IT WAS SWELTERING HOT (late September), as there is no AC or heat- so keep that in mind! It was so warm that our guests mainly hung outside- which is a problem if you want people to dance!
Getting married at Rode's Barn
Rode's Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
