My husband and I recently celebrated our first anniversary at the River Rest Bed and Breakfast. We experienced a very romantic and intimate stay there, with the added value of a very pleasant and gracious host, Richard Mixon.
My husband and I never got to have a real wedding, so for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and his 2 year Cancer Remission Celebration we decided to have a wedding ceremony with all the trimmings. We chose this area because we both love the lake and where the venue was located next to the water.
If you are looking for a place of rest, the peace that flows through this beautiful home over looking the water is a perfect solution! My husband and I spent our fifth wedding anniversary soaking in the comforts of River Rest B & B.
I just had my wedding here and have been planning it for months. Dee was always informative and responsive to all of my questions! Her crew was awesome and the owners were incredibly kind. The day was very smooth and relaxed and they were all so helpful. The house is immaculate and the view/location is GORGEOUS.
