I got married in May 2023 and I am SO GLAD I chose River Highlands as our wedding venue. It was the second venue we saw and I instantly fell in love. No other venue we saw could compare. I loved that it was out of the way and so quiet around it. No loud roads or neighborhoods.
We toured countless wedding venues and selected the picturesque River Highlands Ranch. We are so happy that we did. Not only is the ambiance unparalleled, the flexibility offered by managers Melanie and Andrew Mishler really enabled us to make our day unique and special, to both us and our guests.
The new management under Melanie and Andrew is fantastic. I fell in love with the property as soon as I saw it...it's pretty magical. The amenities are great and made planning much easier since the venue was already well-equipped.
Great venue for our daughter's dream wedding! The staff are wonderful and easy to deal with on an already stressful day.
Getting married at River Highlands Ranch
River Highlands Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
