From the reviews
It's a beautiful venue for a very special day. Plenty of room to dress and iron and set up food. If you're looking for a place to have an old fashioned/modern wedding this is perfect!
I had my fall wedding here in 2010. beautiful location for a fall wedding with the trees changing colors!!! Wedding party was able to get ready here and I walked out of the house and down the stairs where the isle was set up. Had a small reception in the gazebo and was able to take beautiful family photos!
Attended a wedding here awhile back. They had a large gazebo for an outdoor venue. Also a home to get ready in. A park is nearby for children to play in. Right on the shores of the Mississippi. It was a great day here.
Nice place, sister in law had her wedding at the farm house. Parking lot is to small for a big event. Other parking is a long walk from farm house.
Getting married at Riedel Farmhouse
Riedel Farmhouse comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Riedel Farmhouse
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Riedel Farmhouse — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
