From the reviews
We had such a lovely stay at the Red Horse! You can tell lots of effort has gone into the whole place. It's got so much history and we loved chatting with the owners, Darlene and Phil. Breakfast around the table with other guests was great!
This is the most magical hidden gem in Abq!! Very last minute, our original wedding venue cancelled. Darlene, Kat, Sami, and the crew stepped up and made all our wildest requests and visions come true. We had the bachelorette party there as well with a mixology class and pottery paining!!
Quaint family farmstead that has been built up around over the years. The family history and heritage is on display in the home and the owners are friendly and full of stories. The old buildings and trees on the property are interesting. Darlene is a great cook and very accommodating to guest requests.
I have seemed to pick up a new hobby of visiting rustic bed and breakfast places while in NM and the Red Horse BnB did not disappoint. The place is updated, the bed was very comfortable, the service was great! Darlene and and Phil are very friendly and accommodating. The food is killer!
Getting married at Red Horse BnB
Red Horse BnB comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
