From the reviews

We stopped by Rancho Nicasio for just a quick beer, but honestly, the beer was more of an excuse to finally check the place out. They had a few Lagunitas options on tap, which is always a plus for me.

H Great local spot that's hosted many many entertainers from far and wide. Once again we visited last night for dinner and a show featuring Todos Santos. It was perfect in every way. Sunday night, show started early in the evening which is perfect for the last weekend hours.

What a great place to enjoy a dish of well prepared, good old-fashioned, meatloaf and mashed potatoes! No ketchup on top, real potatoes and yummy, well seasoned, fall veggies. AND a fresh fruit cobbler desert! So good!! Also enjoyed some great live music in a small venue.

The perfect dinner stop on the way home after spending a day enjoying nature in Point Reyes! We enjoyed fresh Tamales Bay oysters, melted Nicasio cheese, fish tacos, ribs, and mudpie. The space is spacious with a bar, indoor, and outdoor seating plus space for events. We also saw a schedule for live music!

Getting married at Rancho Nicasio

Rancho Nicasio comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.

Corporate events & private parties at Rancho Nicasio

Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Rancho Nicasio — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
