What couples say again and again
“Beautiful, unique and vintage merch sold in shop, the bar is in the shop as well so you can purchase food and beverages [alchohol + coffee] while they are open.”
“Everything was seamless with a perfect itinerary that was my ideal mix of active and relaxing, with plenty of time to enjoy the location.”
“The tents are elevated and secure so when it rained our second stay, it was the perfect combination of glamping and dealing with the wilderness.”
From the reviews
Rancho Moon is an extraordinary escape that feels a world away, despite being so close to Austin. This chic and elegant venue is perfect for special occasions like bridal showers and weddings, and it's also incredibly family-friendly. I've even seen kids happily enjoying the pool area.
Absolutely perfect experience for my wedding! Ashley and Monet were lovely to work with, answering all my questions and helping make my day perfect! My guests absolutely loved the venue and their cool cowboy vibe! Highly recommend Rancho Moonrise to anyone looking to host an event!
I totally forget to review this place because after having the most amazing day I just ate and rested under the stars. This place to me is a gem 💎 Even though I didn't stay in the cabins they are simple but just what you need for any guests no matter the needs. The pool and landscape are fantastic.
Rancho Moonrise is an absolutely beautiful venue. We hosted a quinceañera there, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience effortless. Highly recommended!
Getting married at Rancho Moonrise
Rancho Moonrise comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Rancho Moonrise
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Rancho Moonrise — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
