The lodge is affordable, beautiful in the summer. Communication prior to, good. Communication on lock up, so/so. The space is great size! The only issues, no room for brides or grooms to get ready. Unable to really use the kitchen for cooking. The lighting stinks, either on or off.
My wife and I had our wedding and reception here. Beautiful venue with a great backdrop. Everyone in attendance was very pleased with the location. Wide Open space with a wall of windows looking out over the park.
A very nice facility, I can see why so many weddings take place there. Lovely interior with clean bathrooms and an area to serve drinks with a little kitchen / refrigerators. Outside can be just as lovely, pending the time of year. A gazebo is just down the path about 200 ft. No outside bathrooms.
Beautiful building!!!! Even in December, the scenery was gorgeous and everyone enjoyed having the option to go outside. The space was just right for a wedding reception with about 80 guests- I could have fit more people, but the room also never felt too big.
