From the reviews
Everything about our wedding at the Pump House was absolutely perfect. We found the Pump House after our original venue was affected by the the hurricane in Asheville, NC.
I stayed here for my sister's wedding. It is a very quaint place. It Is by no means modern or extremely clean, but that is part of the Allure I suppose. There were a bunch of ladybugs that lived in our room with us.
From the initial visit to the day after breakfast, the owners Doug and Lisa were nothing short of amazing. The venue allows you to choose whichever vendors you'd like, and totally allows the freedom to create whatever atmosphere you're looking for.
The people are really nice and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed and very well thought out. The wedding hall and woods ceremony area are beautiful. Breakfast was great. We had amazing omelettes and the thickest bacon that I have ever seen. This place is really nice.
Getting married at Pump House Weddings and B&B
Pump House Weddings and B&B comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Pump House Weddings and B&B
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Pump House Weddings and B&B — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
