I was in a wedding party at the Prairie View Event Hall and it was a blast! The facility was beautifully set up and spacious! The people at the bar were great and I recommend trying their own twist of a lemon drop shot, “the sour lemon”! Thank you for all of your hard work!
Visited for the first time tonight for the Tirrel wedding! What a fantastic venue! The newly family owned and operated venue was impressive! All staff was very on with everything and very kind! Would highly suggest using them for a wedding venue!!!
I am so glad we found Prairie View Event Hall! Few things I’d like to highlight is that they allow you to have your own caterer (which was very important to me since we were having Chick Fil-A), tables, chairs and table linens were included in the package.
I just got married and had our reception and dance at Prairie View event hall. It is under new ownership and the transition was FLAWLESS! Chad, Laura & Ember were fantastic to work with. They had great communication with me, and made the process super easy. The night of our reception went off without a hitch!

First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
