From the reviews
We’ve tried a bunch of pumpkin farms and nothing comes close to Port Farms. The amount of stuff for kids to do is unreal - they could stay busy all day. It’s one of those places that actually lives up to the hype. It is a great place to visit in the summer too when the wildflowers are In bloom.
We hosted a family event at one of the fire pits this past weekend. Fire pit rental was a great price, especially because they allow you to bring in your own food. This does not include admission, which is on the pricier side in my opinion, especially for a large family. There are a lot of family fun activities here.
We made the trip from Pittsburgh to check out the festivities. Poverty Knob was adorable, and kid-friendly which is perfect for moms who want to enjoy a fun Christmas drink. The ladies there were so nice! The horse and carriage ride was fun and blankets were provided which was a really nice touch.
Had so much fun today at Port farms with butterflies, blooms and bubbles. Our little girl had the best time. Definitely visiting again. Very well maintained property and so many activities for kids and adults. They also have good food options and the best fresh lemonade to beat the heat.
Getting married at Port Farms
Port Farms comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Port Farms
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Port Farms — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
