From the reviews
Nice venue, decent food. I came here for a dinner presentation. I liked the venue. The food was okayb drinks were good. The cookies would've probably tasted good if they were warmed up. Too bad they don't let you take food home. I couldn't eat all my food because I had a heavy lunch.
My first time at this restaurant with family and we enjoyed it. It was just the females that went and we had a good time. We tried a few drinks and had no complaints. My sister had a mix drink and you’ll see one of her drinks in my picture. She said it was delicious but was sad about the size (haha).
This place has been a go to for me the last few years. The soup and salad bar that comes with an entree is such a good deal! However, I did notice that even with reservations, the wait times seem to have gone up and the quality of service has gone down.
Dinner was splendid!! 🤌🏽... Third time here, this time had the thick juicy flavorful one pound prime rib with hearty mash potatoes. Salad bar had a nice variety of items including my favorite beef barley soup. Definitely recommend this place.
Getting married at Pomona Valley Mining Co
Pomona Valley Mining Co comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Pomona Valley Mining Co
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Pomona Valley Mining Co — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
