From the reviews
We recently attended an anniversary party here, and it was an absolutely beautiful event. The pond, barn, and cabin make the property a perfect venue for weddings, anniversary parties, and such. Moreover, the owners live on site and are very attentive to the property.
Absolutely stunning place, to having a wedding, birthday party, or even a get together! The moment you drive down the drive way it’s so welcoming and it’s like you’re breathing a breath of fresh air, and all your worries fade away!
The anniversary party that we attended here was absolutely gorgeous without much decorating! It’s rustic, and the landscaping and pond are so pretty! This would be a wonderful set up for a fairytale wedding! There’s a small cabin on the property that can be rented and the owners are always on site!
Love this place and the people who run it! Great setting for pretty much any type of gathering. Can't wait to get back there!
Getting married at Peaceful Prairie Ponderosa Ranch
Peaceful Prairie Ponderosa Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
