From the reviews
From the moment my husband and I saw the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow, we knew it was the one. We even canceled our other tours because nothing could compare. The floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking the boardwalk and beach capture everything we love about Long Island in summer—so much better than the generic “white…
My husband Brian and I got married on 10/13/24. We put off writing this review while we were on our honeymoon, but the whole trip I was thinking about just how great the venue treated us on the most important day of our lives. First off, Maureen and Emily were life savers during the planning phase.
I truly could not recommend the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow enough for your wedding or any other special event. I had to plan a very last-minute wedding and Tarek was not only so accommodating, but he was there from start to finish to help coordinate the most perfect day.
My husband and I had our wedding at the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow on 7/6/24 and we cannot say enough incredible things about this venue. From our initial tour of the venue to our wedding day, Tarek was there to address every question and concern and to make sure the planning process was going smoothly.
Getting married at Pavilion at Sunken Meadow
Pavilion at Sunken Meadow comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Pavilion at Sunken Meadow
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Pavilion at Sunken Meadow — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
