From the reviews
I had a group of 10+ that stayed at Parkton Place for our 8 night stay. It was a wonderful experience due to the flexibility and ease of our host. We had some requirements (outside tables for cleaning of items as well as needing to move some furniture around) and Heather was incredibly responsive and very laid back…
Absolutely gorgeous home and the atmosphere is even more amazing!!! Quiet and country with breathtaking views. Stunning horses, quacking ducks, a fat pot belly pig, goats and a big fluffy lovable dog are a few of the many animals you may spot on the property!!!
Great experience staying at Parkton Place with Chris and Heather as hosts. From the first conversation to the very last they have been responsive, friendly, accommodating, and more than generous. The property is absolutely gorgeous so I definitely recommend as a photography and wedding venue.
Absolutely fell in love with this place! We had our wedding here and rented out to the entire property for the weekend for our family and friends to stay. There was plenty of room between the main house and the barn apartment, we even had others use their camper in the RV section. It was more than perfect.
Getting married at Parkton Place
Parkton Place comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Parkton Place
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Parkton Place — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
