From the reviews
Beautiful venue. Not really handicap accessible though. Very hard to push a wheelchair through gravel and not designated handicap parking spots. The ground was very uneven to walk through and to push a wheelchair through.
Nice place to have a wedding. Only cons were the steep hill on the road and their is no cement sidewalk all the way around the building. The bridesmaids had to walk in rocks all of the way around the building
Beautiful place for a wedding. This place is definitely off the beaten path. It is located off of 48 (way off) and off Old Elkins road and behind Nay Chapel. We navigated to it by searching for the chapel and then taking the road behind it.
This venue is absolutely incredible, to say the least. I just had my wedding here last weekend and I couldn’t have imagined a better venue. The outdoor set up for the ceremony with church pews was stunning followed by the indoor/outdoor reception. There is a patio next to the barn to set up a gorgeous setting area.
Getting married at Oren and Folk
Oren and Folk comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
