“Everyone had plenty of room, and the large central dance floor was an absolute hit — it was packed all night long.”
“We knew we needed a special venue since our flower girl is in a wheelchair and Olio shocked us by being not only fully accessible but also so willing to accommodate our needs.”
What couples say again and again

From the reviews
Olio was the first thing we booked for our wedding and it paid off big time; best night of our lives! The space is amazing. Great history (from past to present) and this incredible industrial aesthetic that is balanced by the warm hardwood floors. You have a strong canvas to pitch whichever wedding you envision.
The Olio is a beautiful space that is perfect for the couple that wants to customize their wedding and/or reception space. My husband and I were able to have an on-site wedding and reception with approximately 190 guests. The space never felt too cramped. Our vendors were accommodated well.
I recently photographed my first wedding at Olio in Peabody and was blown away. The space, the staff, and the location are all incredible. There are so many great spots around the venue for photos, and the overall vibe is so unique, truly unlike most venues, which makes it a hidden gem.
Olio was the first venue my wife and I checked out for our wedding, and we both left the tour completely in love with the space. After looking at a few more options, we realized it had to be this one. The tall ceilings, wood floors, and striking brick & concrete walls make this space so incredibly unforgettable.
Getting married at Olio | Historic Wedding & Event Venue
Olio | Historic Wedding & Event Venue comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
Corporate events & private parties at Olio | Historic Wedding & Event Venue
Reviews and the venue's own info mention corporate events, retreats, or private parties at Olio | Historic Wedding & Event Venue — barn venues often have real weekday availability since weddings claim the weekends. A quick call answers the three things that matter: weekday and off-season rates, whether the space works for your headcount and A/V needs, and what catering is allowed. If your event lands on a Friday or Saturday in wedding season, ask early.
