From the reviews
Rustic wedding experience with gorgeous countryside views in Dorset, Vermont. The staff is easy to work with and the load in is easy. The lower floor holds the reception and has a stage and ample space. The upstairs loft has a bar and a deck to the side of the building.
We had an October wedding at the Old Gray Barn. We didn’t tour the venue or taste the food ahead of time (destination wedding), and we were amazed by the quality of food, level of service from the staff, and beauty of the barn. The food was outstanding and portions were very generous.
All we can say is wow. Our wedding at the Old Gray Barn gave us what was truly the best day of our life. The ceremony site was magical with unbelievable views, and the barn provides a perfect, cozy, rustic cocktail hour and reception.
Just went to view the location can not give a review at this time 4 stars was just a observation of the property
Getting married at Old Gray Barn
Old Gray Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
