From the reviews
Our experience with James and Amanda at OHP was incredible! Scheduling a tour was easy, and after we met we both knew it was going to be the perfect place for our special day. They were very responsive to all questions, included so many things that other venues didn't, and truly made our experience STRESS FREE.
We went to a friend's wedding here. The front of the barn was absolutely beautiful. The outdoor setup and seating is super cute. All the kids had a blast playing around the field and by the pond. The owners and staff were very nice. Super clean bathrooms.
Beautiful venue.....wide open grass areas, tall beautiful trees, gorgeous view to go along with a wonderfully rustic barn/dance hall building. Great set up in a easy to find location right off highway 165 but far enough back from the road to make you feel like you're in a remote hide away in the mountains.
At first glance, this is a barn, but it dresses up beautifully. The individual tastes of the bride and groom make this place special. The DJ and his attention to the music helped to make it even more special. The bride loft was cozy and easily accessed for last-minute instructions for the setup.
Getting married at Ol' Hitchin Post Ranch
Ol' Hitchin Post Ranch comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
