I'm currently planning my wedding reception with Oak Room, and I have to say that Ashley and her staff are the absolute BEST you will find in WNY! I have looked at many other venues in the Buffalo area and nothing impressed me like Oak Room.
My mom and sisters hosted a baby shower for me here, and it was absolutely perfect! The decor was beautiful and the food was exactly what we wanted. All of my guests raved about how great the food was! The planning was a breeze, thanks to the great communication throughout the planning process.

I rented this venue for my sister’s Bridal Shower. Everything about the event was prefect! Every single person on the staff was so kind! The food was delicious—we had waffles, poached eggs, sweet potato hash, and sausage and bacon. I would recommend this venue!
Getting married at Oak Room
Oak Room comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
