From the reviews
This beautiful and rustic space has been the home of so many wonderful memories over the years. I’ve attended weddings, taken educational workshops, enjoyed professional dancers and musicians traveling through, watched theatrical experiences, enjoyed movie nights, shared wonderful dinners… the list goes on.
Very peaceful solo getaway. It feels like you’re in another country up in the canyon. Sierra Madre Creek was flowing. The room was quiet and comfortable. Zak was helpful. Downtown Sierra Madre is 5 min back down the hill, with great food and coffee. Syndicate Coffee has amazing pastries and espresso.
Went here for the first time recently. It's a bit of an uphill climb, but we'll worth it! Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere nesseled deep in the foothills.
Beautiful nature, clean air, friendly staff and well maintained. Lots of nice hiking trails too!
Getting married at Nature Friends of Los Angeles
Nature Friends of Los Angeles comes up for weddings, going by their listing and couples’ reviews. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
