This place is magical! The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. There are eight sites nicely spaced apart surrounding a small lake and nestled against wooded area, each with fire-pit and picnic table. Firewood is available and the bathhouse is clean and well stocked.
This place was AMAZING! We spent the day floating down the Edisto with several friends and their kids. We wrapped up the river floating by having a picnic/cookout at the dock.
We stayed in the Pond House for three days over Thanksgiving. The Pond house is really cute with a very comfortable queen bed and a sofa that also makes into a bed. Heaters in the bathroom and living/bedroom kept us warm. The little cottage sets on the edge of this beautiful pond.
Complete peacefulness!! In this day and age that is a rarity! You don’t have to drive hours from Charleston to “get away from it all”. Clean, organized, and tastefully decorated to showcase the beautiful nature around you. Can’t wait to return for a multi family reunion. Insider tip..
