The setting
“I loved waking up to the sweet horses who live on the property.”
What couples say again and again
“Everything you could want and a trail side camp ground; great hosts, beautiful grounds, plenty of space, hot showers, and as a bonus there is delicious homemade dinner available!”
From the reviews
My son and I recently completed a two-day bikepacking adventure during which we camped overnight at Mount Liberty Berry Barn. Tom and Sue were gracious hosts who took care of our needs – dinner, accommodations, entertainment, water refills, breakfast – to make our outing a success. The food was excellent.
While on the Ohio to Erie Trail, I stopped overnight at the Mt. Liberty Berry Barn. Tom and Sue are fantastic hosts and the excellent food and camping accommodations made me want to stay longer. The dinner they served is "real food" and all homemade and the ice cream (ah, the ice cream!!) is also homemade.
What an incredible place! Tom and Sue are amazing hosts, and the Berry Barn is a great place to eat, camp if you’re doing the Ohio to Erie bike trail, or host a beautiful event. We loved our time here and would recommend stopping by!
Decided to camp along the OTET . THIS IS A GREAT VENUE. Very peaceful and right next to the trail.
Getting married at Mount Liberty Berry Barn
Mount Liberty Berry Barn comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
