From the reviews
We got married on April 30,2022 at the Morgan Church! We were Missy’s first wedding of the season and she made the whole experience phenomenal. It was just her and I before I went to the chapel, and to say my nerves got to me, would be an understatement.
The perfect choice ♥ When deciding where to have our wedding, we immediately thought of Shepherd of the Hills because of what it means to us. Finding that they have so many wedding options was a plus! We were travelling from Kansas, and loved the fact that we could bring as little or as many "extras" as we wanted.
We used the Shepherd of the Hills venue for our rehearsal dinner. Because of their availability last minute, they were able to give us an incredible deal! Even without the deal, their prices are very reasonable. Their goal is to provide a service without over pricing their customers.
A million thanks to Melissa C. for helping us plan our special day! We planned our ceremony in a short amount of time, and everything came out like a dream. Melissa helped us connect with vendors for hair, flowers and photography. She even thought of little details that I would have missed.
Getting married at Morgan Chapel & Venue at Shepherd of the Hills
Morgan Chapel & Venue at Shepherd of the Hills comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
