From the reviews
Oh, how I love this place! For so many reasons. All the McMenamins are fun and interesting, but this is one of my favorite locations. First, as a wedding venue (I'm a photographer who's worked here many times), it's beautiful! The grounds are expansive, with a varied background in every direction.
I got married here in 2021 at the Administrator’s House. It was a gorgeous venue, we got excellent service, catered food was great. The A house was perfect for our small wedding (less than 50 people), and we chose to rent out the house the night of our event so we could stay there with some family. Very convenient!
Gorgeous and inspiring spot with so many lovely amenities. The soaking pool was incredible and the wedding hosted was expertly handled. What a beautiful place. Also such a variety of drinks and things that it’s very friendly to sober folks.
Stopped in to check it out. They have a little bar called the Red Shed. Very cool little bar thay sells cigars. Inside and outdoor seating but only smoking available outside. The McMenamins locations are super cool and this one is one of the best.
Getting married at McMenamins Edgefield
McMenamins Edgefield comes up for weddings — confirmed on their own site. Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see it at the time of day you'd actually get married — a barn that glows at golden hour can feel very different at noon, and you'll want to walk the path your guests take from parking to ceremony to reception. Second, bring your real questions: the rain plan (where does the ceremony move?), the catering and bar policy, the music curfew, and exactly what's included with the rental — tables, chairs, setup, and teardown are where quotes quietly diverge. Popular dates at barn venues book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
