Great venue for a wedding. The Historic McConnell House is gorgeous. Guys got ready in the upstairs rooms, bride and bridesmaids were downstairs. Plenty of room for both groups. Groom went to the Rock Barn out the back - never saw the bride. Was great. The restored and preserved character in the house is unparalleled.
I give 5 stars based on my experience of working with the staff. The staff was wonderful to work with as we talked through options for our event. They were willing to work with us in so many ways. It's a nice space and they have some very pretty options for photos.
The McConnell House & Rock Barn were absolutely perfect! The wedding planner, Cathy and her team did such a fabulous job to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The barn is gorgeous and very accommodating - classy and comfortable!
Gorgeous venue! Staff is very friendly and on top of things. Cathy and Louise especially are awesome. 10/10 recommend having your events here!
